Seniors Count Appoints Project Director

In addition to overall responsibility for Seniors Count partnership activities, Murphy will oversee the Administration on Aging grant-funded Community Innovations for Aging Initiative designed to support at-risk frail seniors in remaining independent at home. The grant partner agencies include Easter Seals NH Catholic Medical Center, Elliot Hospital, and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Practice.

Murphy has worked with seniors in a variety of capacities. Additionally, her experience includes serving as an executive director for a non-profit agency in Florida and most recently as a grant writer for Easter Seals NH, which is the fiscal agent for Seniors Count.

“I look forward to continuing the work of Seniors Count in providing a resource for frail seniors at-risk of falling through the cracks,” said Murphy. “As a convener of partnerships working to ensure independence for older people, I am excited about the prospect of creating a better life for frail seniors through the continued development of Seniors Count.”
