Help Local Elderly Prepare Their Homes for Winter: Grab a Rake and Join the Seniors Count Fall Clean Up Event
MANCHESTER, NH – The leaves are blowing and piling up everywhere. There are many senior citizens throughout the Queen City who own their own homes but are unable to perform routine yard work. With winter fast approaching, give the gift of your time by helping elderly family members, friends and neighbors get their homes ready for winter. Seniors Count is looking for volunteers to lend a hand during a 4-week Fall Clean Up Initiative.
Seniors Count is a community partnership that supports the independence and well being of Manchester’s frail older adults.
The kickoff is Saturday, October 24 at 8:30 am at Easter Seals NH, located at 555 Auburn Street, Manchester. Individuals and groups are encouraged to volunteer at any time during the 4-week event.
