“Confused About Confusion” Workshop
Service providers/clinicians who work with older adults, e.g. social workers, nurses,
case managers, protective service workers, mental health workers, PT/OT, home care
providers & program planners. Social work applied for 1.5 CEUs.

Project Dartmouth Centers for Healthy Aging
Focus: Identifying the differences between those diseases falling under the umbrella of
dementia. Key differences in diagnostic criteria, symptom manifestation, and assessment
principles will be covered. Use of case studies will pull together materials covered and
reinforce key concepts. Workshop co-sponsored by the Northern New England Geriatric
Education Center at Dartmouth Centers for Health and Aging.
